About Message Test Bench

For the work before and after a message test.

Message Test Bench is an owner-run project for marketers preparing surveys and comparing message-test results. Use it to review a draft question, work out a test plan or check what the numbers support.

What you can take away

The wording checker gives you a review of specific phrases to reconsider. The comparison calculator keeps the raw counts beside the difference between two results. The worksheets help you record assumptions and a decision rule before you see the answers.

Guides connect these steps with question examples and worked calculations. The checker test note shows actual outputs on twelve constructed inputs, including problems it missed. Numerical survey examples are fictional and labeled. We have not published consumer-survey findings.

Who makes the work

The project began in 2026. We publish under the Message Test Bench name, and the owner-editor is responsible for publication and corrections. AI assists with drafting, coding and source checks. We do not present AI-generated examples as customer opinions or automated checks as independent expert review.

The editorial standards explain the review history and how later changes are identified. Read the sources and limits attached to a method before using it for a decision.

Help us correct it

If a calculation seems wrong, a question example changes the meaning, or a tool gets in your way, send us the page and what happened. Use made-up inputs when demonstrating a problem; do not send customer identifiers or confidential survey responses. Material corrections are recorded on the corrections page.
