How do I count characters without spaces?
Paste or type into the editor. “Without spaces” excludes ordinary spaces. “Without whitespace” also excludes tabs, line breaks and other whitespace. Your original text is unchanged.
Do spaces count toward a limit?
Often, yes. Check the rules for the field you are writing. The optional budget here uses the total including spaces; it is not a platform acceptance test.
